Shizuoka is a Japanese city full of impassioned Japanese city, this place can represent the whole of Japan's history and cultural elements, play through Shizuoka is equivalent to play through the whole of Japan, it is an excellent tourist resort, the following to share with you a detailed guide.
Shizuoka Prefecture is geographically located almost in the center of Japan, the northern part of Shizuoka Prefecture is the world heritage site of Mount Fuji, the south has the "world's most beautiful bay club" member of Japan's deepest bay - Suruga Bay, in addition, there is the Izu Peninsula, Lake Hamana and so on. In addition, there is the Izu Peninsula, Lake Hamana, etc.
Since Mt. Fuji Shizuoka Airport has opened regular direct flights between Hangzhou and Shizuoka, and Ningbo and Shizuoka, Hangzhou residents can fly to the land of Fuji in just two hours to enjoy the food and beautiful scenery.
Now when you go to Shizuoka, you can not only taste various kinds of seafood and soak in hot springs, but also take the Suruga Bay Ferry to view Mt. Fuji at 3776 meters from the sea level.
Mount Fuji, the Shinkansen and cherry blossoms are the symbols of Japan, and Shizuoka is the only prefecture in the whole of Japan where you can experience all three of them at the same time. Playing well in Shizuoka is the equivalent of playing the whole of Japan.
According to the Japanese government's Tourism Bureau, sightseeing-oriented tourists accounted for 77 percent of Chinese visitors to Japan in 2017. Among Chinese guests traveling to Japan, those traveling on DIY tours accounted for 62 percent of the total.
Compared with Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto, which are ranked among the top three best cities to visit in Japan in the minds of Chinese tourists, Shizuoka is not as famous. However, Shizuoka is home to the World Heritage site of Mount Fuji and the Reflecting Furnace of Mt. Leek, as well as world-class hot springs and gourmet foods - strawberries from Kuno, wasabi from Kawazu and Shuzenji, eel from Hamamatsu and Mishima, and sakura shrimp from Yubi. Shizuoka is also famous in Japan for the quality of its tea and beef.
Shizuoka Prefecture produces more than 70% of the country's wasabi, and in March 2018, two wasabi production areas in Shizuoka Prefecture, the Shizuoka and Izu regions, were recognized as World Agricultural Heritage sites for the "Traditional Cultivation of Wasabi in Shizuoka.
Recently added attractions such as the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Center, the Nihon Hirame Balcony, and the Fujinokuni Tea Capital Museum are also popular among tourists. The exterior of the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Center in Shizuoka Prefecture is an inverted cone covered with wooden latticework, shaped as if Mt. Fuji had been turned upside down. You can experience the feeling of climbing Mt. Fuji while viewing the view of Mt. Fuji projected on the wall along the slope. At the end of the slope is the observation hall, which offers a magnificent view of Mt.
The cycling events for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games will all be held in Shizuoka, with cycling road races and mountain biking venues spread out over Shizuoka's Oyama-cho and Izu-shi from July 25 to Sept. 5, 2020, respectively.
The Izu Peninsula is famous for its hot springs, and two of Japan's top three hot springs are located in Shizuoka: Atami Hot Springs, a hot springs resort that is easily accessible from Tokyo, and Ito Hot Springs, which is known as a gushing spring because of its abundance of water. Ito Onsen" is famous for its abundant water, and "Ito Onsen" is known as a gushing spring. Other famous hot springs include Atagawa, Inari, Kawatsuhama and Dojima.
After watching the races, it's nice to take a dip in the hot springs. Tohei Onsen is the oldest and largest hot spring town on the west coast of Izu. It was known as Kanayama in the Edo period and was crowded with people, but since the first hot spring was discovered in 1611 in the territory of Anrakuji Temple, it has gradually become a place where tourists gather to bathe in hot springs. The hot springs in Dojima are called Makeup Hot Springs, and from the pavilion, you can enjoy a marvelous view of Suruga Bay.
This will be my fifth trip to Japan, and I'm going to start taking notes from this time on.

Tour Overview:
Day1Shanghai-Shizuoka-Izu Atagawa MU201911:10-14:45 Shanghai to Shizuoka
. The flight was very smooth, not late and arrived half an hour early, so we made it to Shizuoka in time for the early airport bus.
Shizuoka
The airport has the best Chinese service I've ever been to. From the moment you get off the plane to the exit, the service is all in authentic Chinese. There is a convenience store, 7-11, on the other side of the airport, and since our next stop was a bit out of the way, we stopped at the convenience store first to get some snacks and food
Airport-Shizuoka Station: Bus stop #5 is on the left hand side of the airport exit. Get on the bus according to the schedule and get off at Shizuoka Station. Get on the bus and take the organizer ticket, get off the bus and pay, it's 1,000 yen per person, so prepare a 1,000 yen bill in advance. The bus does not take 5000 or 10,000 yen.
The following is the schedule reference, you from the official website and then check carefully, the schedule according to the weekdays or holidays are not the same, you must check again!
Shizuoka Station - Izu Atagawa: Start the long train ride. Take the JR Tokaido Main Line to Atami Station, transfer to the JR Ito Line to
Ito, and then transfer to the Izu Kyuko Line to Izu Atagawa. The whole trip takes more than 2 hours. Since we would arrive at the hotel late, we chose to eat at Atami station and then take the bus back to the hotel
Hotel - Atagawakan Atagawakan: I read the guide before that it has an unrivaled view of the sea, the best hotel in Izu, etc. After checking in, I found that the view is really good. After checking in and found that VIEW is really good, excellent sea view room, this is the hotel's viewing position on the photo
Izu City Hotel will be replaced every day desserts to the guests, eat to the delicious to rush to 1F to buy. We recommend the hotel's dried fish and tea. Tea we did not buy at the time, and finally regretted, went to Shizuoka
Found that you can not buy this green tea with a little matcha flavor.
Izu City
The most highly recommended thing about this hotel is the outdoor hot spring! Indoor and outdoor are sea view, facing the sea soak in the hot spring, the key to these 2 hot springs are free of charge, we specially zao'qi, Izu City, the weather on this day is not so good, cloudy days to see the scenery is a little worse
Izu CityDay2Shiozaki Coast - Omuroyama - Cactus Park, the morning woke up in the sound of the sea waves, the first come to taste the hotel's breakfast
Izu City, eaten after the Breakfast and go out ~ Atagawa Hall to the station is about 5-10 minutes walk, but because it is uphill or a little tired, the road to see this season's unique carp flags
Izu City, Izu Atagawa Station, under the blue sky cute, a kind of Japanese cartoon feeling
Izu City
in the station ticket window to buy the Izu Emergency Line 2 days ticket, 2,000 Yen per ticket. Also remember to ask the station staff for a timetable. There are 3 types of trains on the Izu Express Line, besides the regular ordinary trains there are also the Kurosune train, the izuno_to train, which has seats for viewing the sea, and you need to look at the timetable to find out when to take it.
First stop: Josaki Coast! When you get off the train and don't leave the station, turn right and there's Ashiyu! It's a very beautiful place to soak your feet and feel good again, the foot bath is slightly hotter and we all turned into pig's feet.
Shiozaki Coast
Follow the signs from the station and walk through Cherry Blossom Avenue for about 20-30 minutes to Shiozaki Coast. On both sides of the road are beautiful private villas, walk or very comfortable, but this road sign says 1.7 kilometers, I think it may be 3 kilometers
Second stop: through the parking lot to reach the scenic area, the next moment is to take pictures of the moment. Shirozaki coast because you have to climb around to take pictures, girls or wear sneakers will be more convenient, the scenery here is really beautiful ~ lighthouse
and suspension bridge are all together, basically just take pictures of the rocky side. The drawbridge is relatively ordinary
Shiozaki Coast
After coming out of Shiozaki Coast, go back the way you came, and at the intersection, follow the signs in the other direction - Ocean Park, which is about a 10-minute walk away. Take a bus according to the schedule to シャボテン公_(仙人掌公园), and get off at the entrance of Omuroyama. Since we did not eat, so first to the entrance of this building 2F to eat a simple meal, but the taste is very good Oh,
Japan is like this, randomly order a meal, the chance of stepping on the mine is very low.
Third stop: Omuroyama! After dinner we quickly went downstairs to line up for tickets to ride the cable car and see the sights of Mount Omuro. The cable car ticket was 500 a person round trip, but if you have a weekly pass from Izu Kyukyu Coupon you can get it 50 dollars cheaper.
Omuroyama
Omuroyama
Omuroyama is the place where the meteorite falls and the hero and heroine call each other's names in the movie Your Name. This part of the crater is a walking trail, and you can see it from the mountain if the weather is good
Stop 4:
Cactus Park! The last attraction of the day. After returning from the cable car, diagonally across the road is Cactus Park. I actually find the name weird, the whole park is mainly a zoo + cactus plant exhibit. The purpose of coming here is mainly for the dolphins, but unfortunately, when we went there, the temperature might be a bit high, the dolphins were not willing to soak in the hot spring, a small regret. But this zoo, although not big, but the range of animals is very wide, even gorillas have
Cactus Park water dolphins are particularly gentle, play with you how you want, their hair is a little hard, like a broom.
After strolling through the cactus park, return the same way to the park entrance to take a bus to the Izu Kogen station, and then transfer to the Izu rush line back to the hotel. Since you booked half board, you have to catch the dinner time at the hotel.
Dinner is divided into 2 time choices of 6pm and 6:30pm and is served in the room. We chose to eat in one room for our 2 rooms. The hotel dinner can be very rich la, from aperitifs to desserts, and the classic cai's we had that day tasted great.
The second day of the trip was over, and the rest of the day was reserved for the hot springs.
Day3 Sea Watch Train - MishimaOriginally we were going to go to Kawazu + Shuzenji on this day, but we changed it temporarily to Mishima, mainly because we were attracted by a publicity photo of Mishima.
First stop: the sea view train. According to the schedule we got on the first day, we saw that there was a リゾ_ト train around 9:30, so we stepped on time to catch the train, and basically every car had a row of sea-viewing seats. The best view is at Izu Inari towards Shimoda, there are only 2 stops with unbeatable sea view, I don't remember exactly, but you can get off the train after those 2 stops anyway.
Izu City
Second stop: Mishima Grand Suspension Bridge. After seeing the beautiful sea view, we took the opposite direction to Mishima, changing from the Izu Express Line to the JR. Mishima
After exiting the station, you can buy a one-day pass near the bus stop at the entrance, and you can take as many buses as you want. Go to Mishima
The big suspension bridge Skywalk, this is also the name of the station, get off the bus and follow the signs to get there. This attraction is not really recommended, completely attracted by the official publicity picture to go, in fact, a little disappointed.
The actual photo was taken, perhaps because the weather was not sunny enough. It is more comfortable to walk back and forth from this bridge with the wind blowing. But from the landscape lai'jiang
Third stop: Mishima Grand Shrine, the original bus back to the front of the Mishima Grand Shrine off. Shrine words and other shrines in Japan is similar. I think the most representative temples and shrines in Japan are Kiyomizu Temple and Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine
, but the others are nothing special. I went to the shrine to draw lots and buy amulets as usual. When I came out, I suddenly saw a deer park nearby, only a 2-minute walk away, so I went to see the deer, but unfortunately, the deer here are all in the fence, not like Nara
that kind of walking right next to you fun.
There is an ice cream parlor across the street from Mishima Taisha, and it's delicious! Don't miss it if you go
Fourth stop: Genbutsugawa
After eating the ice cream, follow the navigation and walk to this place that often appears in Japanese dramas. It's not usually seen in guides, but there is a recommendation for this spot on the day pass and it's well worth a visit. A lot of Japanese
couples and girls like to sit by the creek to soak their feet, very cozy, we rested here and photographed for a long time.
Mishima's famous food: cola cake and eel rice. Cola cakes can be found everywhere and any one you buy is delicious. So our next goal was Mishima
Sakura's, the most famous eel rice! It's about a 5-10 minute walk from Genbegawa following the navigation, we arrived at 5pm waited a little 10 minutes and went in, and ordered the single eel rice as we didn't find the set menu very appealing. I think it was 4300 yen a piece
The Mishima eel rice was really good, I can give it 4 stars~~After eating it, we went back to the hotel to rest and soak in the hot spring~
Day4Izu-Shizuoka
This morning we woke up early, took advantage of the less crowded hot springs, and then went to the hotel downstairs to play on the beach a little bit.
The main shopping area in Shizuoka is near the north exit of Shizuoka station, so on this day we put our bags down and hurriedly ate an Ichiran ramen, and then started the rhythm of buying.
After exiting the north exit of Shizuoka Station, take the subway and follow the signs from Kurenai-cho to the main shopping street. On both sides of the road is a variety of small stores and drugstores, shopping recommendations are as follows:
Buy drugstores: just 2 sides of the shopping street Matsumoto Kiyoshi and Daikoku Yakiniku, the goods are complete and inexpensive, remember to use a coupon
Buy cosmetics in department stores: Isetan basically have, only IPSA does not have, if you want to buy IPSA you can go to the Matsuzakaya, located in Shizuoka Station, across from the North Exit
buy clothing : recommended Isetan 2F and PARCO; if it is a young girl decisively go to PARCO to buy, 1-2F is more beautiful
buy hand-me-downs: Isetan B1, there is an imported supermarket, there are a variety of delicious fruit, bento, tea, skewers, fried chicken and so on
LOFT: Located in the PARCO ding'lo, which is to buy medicinal cosmetics and stationery
Shizuoka station station: one side is selling clothes, girls can go shopping is not bad; the other side is a food street, mainly bento skewers, takoyaki dumplings, etc.
Day5Maruko hometown visit + Miho Coast
First stop: Maruko hometown visit - - Shimizu Irie Elementary School. -Shimizu Irie Elementary School. From the hotel, we walked to Shin-Shizuoka station, took the Shizuoka
Railway to Sakurabashi station, got off the train and followed the navigation for about 10 minutes to Shimizu Irie Elementary School. Luckily, we were there on a day off, no students were in class, and there was no one in the school, so we snuck in.
After the elementary school, we went straight ahead, and there's a store that Maruko used to go to for yokan. The store is still open, and the products inside are labeled with Maruko's picture, so we each bought a packet of yokan as a souvenir.
Walking out of the yokan store, we went in the opposite direction and soon arrived at Maruko's house, which is now owned by another person, but still has Maruko's picture on the window, and the bridge near Maruko's house, where Maruko used to walk with her grandfather.
After walking across the footbridge, you'll reach the Bakawa River, where you watched the fireworks with your new friends in the new season of the movie (your wife was abducted, Hanabi). Then follow the road on your right and keep walking for about 10 minutes, and you'll see the cafeteria where Maruko used to eat
ShizuokaThis is a photo taken from the other side of the Bakawa River. We presume that the location where Mariko used to stand is now built as the Shizuoka Railway, so there's only a long-distance photo of it. That's the railroad tracks in blue
Kaneda Eatery, a place Maruko frequents, has Maruko's recommendations posted inside the store. There's a Japanese
boy who speaks Chinese, and business is good at lunchtime, with a full house~ Maruko's favorite, eel liver, didn't really interest us, so we each ordered the set menu we wanted to eat. Highly recommend the tuna rice, which is the one on the far left in the picture, very, very good!
After eating, we followed the navigation to Hollow Shrine, where Maruko frequents, and still passed by Maruko's house on the way
That's it for the visit to Maruko's hometown~Next, we're heading to our second stop of the day: the Maruko Museum! It's about a 20 minute walk from the shrine. The museum is on the 3F of a department store, and you need to walk through the game room to get there. The souvenir store here is really not that great, we went home with the intention of buying all kinds of gifts and ended up going home empty handed, but the museum itself is very cute and the pictures kept coming
After seeing Maruko we navigated our way to take the bus to Miho Coast. After getting off the bus you need to walk for about 15 minutes, which is a bit of a distance, and the scenery along the way is still nice. The biggest feature of the Sambo Coast is the black sand beach, this attraction is more to this point. After seeing the beach basically left.
The Miho Coast
The Miho Coast, because of the previous day's experience, I thought that, like Tokyo and Osaka, the drugstores are open until 11 o'clock, but it turned out that the drugstores in Shizuoka
closed at 9 o'clock, and we did not have a good time buying. On this day we chose a nice looking store near the drugstore and rushed to buy and eat.
The sukiyaki at this restaurant was delicious and the beef was superb, though the quality of our additional beef was much worse.
Shizuoka Day6 Kanaya - Chitsuo Ooi Lakagami - Dream Suspension Bridge
This place is very, very windy, so if you're not going in the middle of the summer, remember to wear a good jacket and sneakers!!!! We spent the day shivering in the wind
Because we didn't book a hotel in Chitose, we had to combine the 2 attractions of Oo Daei Hakami and the Dream Suspension Bridge in one day on this trip, and after calculating the schedule, we had to catch the 7:48 train from Gum Valley to make it. So we left at 6:45am, packed breakfast + lunch, and took the JR Tokaido Main Line from
Shizuoka Station to Kanaya Station. Inside the station, you can buy an Oi River Pass, and then the railroad track on the side is the Oi River Railway, so you can ride directly to Chitose Station. The pass is 4,400 yen per person.
This is the train schedule from Kanaya to Chitose:
Based on the schedule, we arranged to go to Ooi Kogami first, and when we arrived at Chitose, we didn't go out of the station, but directly changed to a small train (abutting type train) on another railroad track, and got off at Ooi Kogami station. The scenery along the way, some stations will stop for 3 minutes to passengers get off to take pictures.
Abbutt Train Timetable: (Timetable can be found on the Ooi River Railway website)
Abbutt Train
Ooi Hakogami is here! This is the only station built on the lake, absolutely beautiful view, follow the signposts up the hill and around in a circle to reach the perfect spot for a bird's eye view of the panorama. I
We ate lunch with food and drink on our backs looking out over the scenery, really enjoying oh
After the tour here is completed, we recommend returning to Ao Daejeon Hukami Station the same way, and taking the bus back to Chitou. If you walk to another station according to the signpost, the way is estimated to be at least 60 minutes of mountain road.
After seeing the area, we return the same way, take the small train back to Qiandou, exit the station and take the bus to Cunyao Gorge, where it is important to pay attention to the moment of the return bus, as well as the location of the bus, for example
The last bus is not in the same location as the drop-off, but halfway down the road.
The walk from the station to the suspension bridge takes about 30 minutes and involves going through a tunnel, probably because we were there on the 5.1 holiday, which is also Japan's
holiday, so it was especially crowded, and we saw a 60-minute wait here at the suspension bridge, so we began the process of shivering in the cold and wind.
After an hour of waiting in line, we realized that there was little hope, so we went further and found that the line would take at least 3-4 hours, so, gave up, no chance of the suspension bridge, but had to run to the Flying Dragon Bridge to take a distant view of the suspension bridge.
My advice here is: if the queue is after the silver staircase down, you can queue up and wait for about 1-2 hours, if the queue is beyond the silver staircase, then just give up, look at the map, and go around the excepted end of the suspension bridge kabababababababababababababababababababababababababababababababababababababababababababababababab. Around the circle is estimated to be 1.5 hours walking
Because of the waste of time queuing up, for fear of not being able to make it back in time, we can only take a far away photo on the way back, in fact, Cunar Gorge time is sufficient if you can have fun, there is the hot springs of the day, foot soup, dessert stores, etc., near the station to buy Cunar Gorge specialties of the cake, in fact, it is a deep-fried rice cake
Returning to the hotel, we go to the Yakitori restaurant that a certain student had been longing for, and shopped for Kanto Boiled and Skewers, which was great!
Day7
Shizuoka Shopping
We wanted to go to Ebony Kumori no Mori but girls you know, didn't buy enough so it turned into buying again. So there is no content dedication for this day, you can read the shopping tips for the first two days. This day in PARCO upstairs, seems to be 7F ate a buffet lunch, cost-effective 1500 a person, things are quite a lot, you can try.
Day 8: Shizuoka-Shanghai
Last day, reluctant to leave, checkout after we went to the legendary first matcha ななや, the location of the Isetan side of the sidewalk. This store in Tokyo branch every day to a long line, but fortunately Shizuoka
There are fewer tourists, arrived at 11 in the morning, there are already a lot of Japanese couples and girls queuing up, it seems to belong to a very popular ice cream store in the region.
The store's matcha from 1 degree - 7 degrees, 7 degrees is the most bitter. 3 degrees for the best blend of sweetness and matcha bitterness, is appreciated flavor, we ordered 4 degrees of matcha + black tea duplex, cups, 440 yen a copy. It was really, really good, and the 2 flavors were delicious! The store also sells matcha, green tea, black tea tea, chocolates, daifuku, etc. We also bought a lot to take home.
