Usage and dosage: Oral administration: decoction, 3-9g; or take into pills or powder, 1-3g; External use: appropriate amount, grind into powder and sprinkle, or mix and apply.

Indications

1. Endless nosebleeds. Blow the powder of Baicao Shuang into the nostrils to stop the bleeding immediately.

2. Vomiting blood. Use Baizhaoshuang powder and two coins, and give it glutinous rice soup. Another prescription: 5 qian of Baicaoshuang, 2 liang of powdered sophora japonica, grind the powder into fine powder, take 2 qian each time, and give it as Maogen Decoction.

3. Bleeding between teeth. Apply Baicao cream on the skin, it is effective.

4. Women suffer from hemorrhage. Take two coins of Baicao Shuang, mix it with dog bile, take it twice, and give it with Angelica sinensis wine.

5. Pregnant women have fetal bleeding or fetal death. Use two qian of Baicao Shuang, one qian of Brown Ash, and 5 qian of Fulong Gan. Grind the powder into powder. Take 1 or 2 qian each time, add wine or Tongquan to boiled water.

6. Symptoms such as prenatal and postpartum weakness, retrograde fetal growth, irregular menstruation, and menorrhagia. Divide Baicaoshuang and Angelica dahurica into powder in equal parts, take two qian for each dose, mix a little each of children's urine and vinegar thoroughly, and serve with hot soup. Two servings are effective.

7. Women have leucorrhea. Use one liang of Baicao Shuang and half a liang of fragrant ink, grind it finely, put three qian at a time into a piece of pig liver, wrap it in paper and simmer until cooked, chew it carefully, and swallow it with warm wine.

8. Zang poison inflicts blood. Mix Baicao Shuang five qian and rice soup thoroughly, leave it out overnight, and take it empty stomach the next morning.

9. Sudden diarrhea. Use two qian of Baicao Shuang and rice soup to take it. Another prescription (Tie Brush Pill): three qian of Baicao Shuang, one qian of ink, 7 fen of Pinellia pinellia, and 14 pods of cooked croton, grind well, add 3 qian of yellow wax and a little sesame oil, make a ball, and swallow it in portions. Depending on the size of the pills, take three or four to forty or fifty pills each time, along with ginger soup.

10. Diarrhea in children. Take "Zhuche Wan", which is 2 qian of Baicao Shuang and 1 qian of croton simmered with oil removed. Grind it well, add a little flour and make it into balls, as big as mung beans. Take three to five pills each time. If it is red diarrhea, use licorice soup. If it is white diarrhea, use rice soup. If there is both red and white diarrhea, use ginger soup.

11. Heat dysentery, pus and blood. Use one or two each of Baicaoshuang and Coptidis rhizome, grind it into powder, take two qian each time, and give it with wine. Take it twice a day.

12. Malaria. Divide Baicaoshuang and Huangdan into powder in equal parts, take three qian and take it empty stomach on the day of onset, and give it with rice soup. It can be cured after taking two doses.

13. Fainted, but the pulse did not stop. Fill it with Baicao frost and water. At the same time, acupuncture was performed on Baihui and the middle toenail side of the big toe.

14. There are lumps in the throat, making it difficult to eat or drink. Add Baicao cream and honey to make balls as big as Gorgon seeds. Dissolve one pill with fresh water each time and drink it down. The risk is that it only takes two pills to be effective. This prescription is called "Bailing Pill".

15. Nasal sores with purulent odor. Take two coins of Baicao Shuang with cold water.

16. Alopecia areata. Use Baicao cream mixed with lard and apply on it.

17. Sores on the head. After washing with vinegar soup, add a small amount of greasy powder to Baicao Shuang, mix with raw oil and apply it evenly to the affected area.

18. Wheat ulcer (many rice-like boils appear in the muscles of the hands, feet, shoulders, etc., causing heartbreaking pain). Use Baicao Shuang, cauldron navel ink, and Zaowu dust to grind together, add a bucket of water, boil until it boils, and take the juice to wash away the gangrene. Wash three or four times a day.
