Yuyao Myrica rubra is divided into four varieties: black, pink, red and white, among which the black "water chestnut" is the most famous. This variety has round fruit, bright color, sweet taste and small pit, and is rich in Sanqi Town, Zhangting Town, Lubu Town and Dayin Town in the east of Yuyao. White bayberry, which is produced in Mazhu Town and Moushan Town in the west of Yuyao, is also famous for a long time. It is characterized by fresh taste, sweet and sour taste and late listing.
Every June, when Yangmei matures, the annual Yuyao Yangmei Festival "Happy Tour of Yangmei Hometown" will debut. Tourists from home and abroad come in droves, gathering in Yuyao, enjoying the red fruits all over the mountain, and tasting the treasures of the fruits. What a joy!
