Synopsis:

When a series of murders occur in the county town, Hengniang, the wife of the county magistrate Hong Tianfu, rushes from the countryside to the county town and encounters a strange old lady who is addicted to alcohol. The family gradually changes, and Hengniang is willing to change herself in order to win her husband's heart. Fortunately, Hengniang is coached by the strange woman, and she becomes a new woman.

Di Lun, the fox demon who started the murder, allows Heng Niang to fall into her own elaborate trap in order to practice her immortal magic, and gradually loses her own nature in the process.
