How to get a chef qualification certificate
Requirements for obtaining a chef's certificate:

(1) Intermediate is 20 years old, senior is 25 years old, technician is 30 years old, and senior technician is 32 years old;

(2)? Primary (one of the following conditions):

(1) the vocational primary formal training has reached the required standard hours, and has obtained the certificate of graduation (completion).

(2) in this occupation for more than 2 years.

(3) the professional apprenticeship expires.

(3) Intermediate (one of the following conditions):

(1) after obtaining the primary vocational qualification certificate of this occupation, he has been engaged in this occupation for more than 3 years in a row, and has reached the prescribed standard hours of formal training in this occupation, and has obtained the certificate of graduation (completion).

(2) after obtaining the primary vocational qualification certificate of this occupation, he has been engaged in this occupation for more than 5 years continuously.

(3) obtain the vocational graduation certificate of secondary vocational school or above with intermediate skills as the training goal, which is approved by the administrative department of labor and social security.

(3) Advanced (one of the following conditions):

(1) after obtaining the intermediate vocational qualification certificate of this occupation, he has been engaged in this occupation for more than 4 years continuously, and has reached the prescribed standard hours after the advanced formal training of this occupation, and has obtained the certificate of graduation (completion).

(2) after obtaining the intermediate vocational qualification certificate of this occupation, he has been engaged in this occupation for more than 7 years continuously.

(3) college graduates who have obtained the intermediate vocational qualification certificate of this occupation have been engaged in this occupation for more than 2 years.

(4) to obtain the vocational graduation certificate from a senior technical school or a vocational school that has been approved by the administrative department of labor and social security and aims at cultivating advanced skills.

(4) Technician (one of the following conditions):

(1) after obtaining the vocational senior vocational qualification certificate, he has been engaged in this occupation for more than 5 years continuously, and has been trained by this professional technician to reach the prescribed standard hours, and has obtained the certificate of graduation (completion).

(2) after obtaining the senior vocational qualification certificate of this occupation, he has been engaged in this occupation for more than 8 years continuously.

(3) graduates of senior technical schools who have obtained the vocational senior vocational qualification certificate have been engaged in this occupation for 2 years continuously.

(5) Senior technician (one of the following conditions):

(1) after obtaining the professional qualification certificate of this professional technician, he has been engaged in this professional work for more than 3 years continuously, and has reached the prescribed standard hours of formal vocational training for this professional senior technician, and has obtained the certificate of graduation (completion).

(2) after obtaining the professional qualification certificate of this professional technician, he has been engaged in this professional work for more than 5 years.

Registration method and time for obtaining the chef's certificate: generally, registration begins from June to July every year.

Relevant consulting institutions in Guangzhou: Guangzhou Chef Training School (the only government-run institution of Guangzhou Human Resources and Social Security Bureau).

The grades of chef's certificate: primary (national vocational qualification level 5), intermediate (national vocational qualification level 4), advanced (national vocational qualification level 3), technician (national vocational qualification level 2) and senior technician (national vocational qualification level 1).

The cost of the exam: the price will be different according to different levels.
