Preparation materials: 250g-500g of fresh hawthorn, 100-200g of rock sugar
Preparation steps:
1. Buy fresh hawthorn.
2. Use a fruit knife and a small fork to remove the seeds and upper and lower stems of the hawthorn.
3. Steam the packed hawthorns in a pot. Boil the water first. After adding the hawthorns, steam them over high heat for one and a half minutes, that is, 90 seconds. Don’t overdo it, as the hawthorns can easily become rotten. .
4. Sterilize the jar with boiling water.
5. Put the steamed hawthorn into a jar cooked with boiling water, do not make it too full.
6. Make rock sugar water. The amount of rock sugar depends on your preference. My personal suggestion is to put more rock sugar, because hawthorn is really sour.
7. Pour the boiled rock sugar water into the hawthorn, seal it, and leave it for 1-2 days before eating.
8. Finished product picture.
