Calendula is a biennial herbaceous plant of the genus Calendula of the Asteraceae family. It is also known as calendula, periwinkle, sempervivum, rhizome, calendula, etc. Together with daisies and pansies, it was once the three most commonly used flowers in spring to decorate flower beds and flower borders. Marigold flowers are mostly yellow and are suitable for matching with flowers of other colors.
