How to breed crayfish 1 in paddy field, field selection
If you want to raise crayfish in rice fields, you'd better choose a sticky field with abundant water resources, convenient irrigation and drainage, clean water quality, fertile soil and strong water retention. Generally speaking, the bigger the rice field, the better. Crayfish must not be cultivated in dry fields, otherwise crayfish cannot survive and grow.
2. Paddy field treatment
Before crayfish culture, it is necessary to dig ditches in paddy fields, generally, ditches can be dug inside the ridge, with the width 1-2m, the depth 0.8- 1m and the slope ratio 1: 2.5. If the paddy field is relatively large, several ridges should be added in the middle of the paddy field.
3, disinfection and fertilization
After the rice field is dug, it needs to be disinfected with quicklime to prevent crayfish from getting sick due to a large number of pathogenic bacteria in the rice field. After disinfection, it is necessary to apply base fertilizer in the rice field to make the fertility in the rice field more abundant and the crayfish can grow more vigorously.
4. Stocking
When the paddy field is ready, crayfish can be put into the paddy field for breeding. One method is to put the mature crayfish into the paddy field for natural reproduction and growth in August-September of the first year, or put the crayfish seedlings into the paddy field for reproduction when the water temperature rises to above 15℃ in spring.
