(1) Wind-cold syndrome.
① xingsu powder
[ indication] exogenous cold and dryness.
[ prescription] 1g of perilla leaf, 9g of bitter almond, 9g of Rhizoma Fagopyri Preparata, 12g of poria cocos, 6g of dried tangerine peel, 9g of radix peucedani, 8g of platycodon grandiflorum, 6g of bitter orange, 3g of ginger, 6g of jujube and 3g of raw licorice.
[ Usage] Put the medicine into a sand pot, add appropriate amount of water, simmer and fry until the juice is thick, and remove the residue. One dose per day, taken in three times. For patients with diarrhea, 9 grams of Rhizoma Atractylodis and 9 grams of Rhizoma Cyperi are added; For those with severe wind and cold, add 3 grams of ephedra; For patients with aversion to cold and fever, thirst and sore throat, 9 grams of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi and 1 grams of Fructus Forsythiae are added; For patients with excessive phlegm and asthma, add 1 grams of aster and 1 grams of loquat leaves; For severe headache, add 1 grams of Radix Angelicae Dahuricae, 9 grams of Rhizoma Chuanxiong and 8 grams of Fructus Viticis.
② Huagai Powder
[ Indications] Excessive phlegm in the body and wind-cold syndrome in the lung. Coughing for breath, slurping, white spitting, fullness of chest septum, heavy nasal congestion, aversion to cold and fever, white and moist fur, and tight pulse.
[ prescription] 3g of perilla seed (fried), 3g of ephedra (root-removed), 3g of almond (peeled tip), 3g of dried tangerine peel (peeled), 3g of mulberry bark, 3g of Poria cocos (peeled) and 15g of licorice.
[ Usage] Take 6 grams of medicine, one cup of water each time, and decoct until six minutes, and take it at irregular intervals. If the nasal congestion is heavy, add Fangfeng and Mint; Adverse phlegm and qi: Cortex Lycii and Radix Platycodi are added; Rhizoma Anemarrhenae and Bulbus Fritillariae Cirrhosae are added for cough and asthma promotion; Lung-heat, itchy throat and cough: add gypsum and Ophiopogon japonicus.
③ jinfeicao powder
[ Indications] divergent wind-cold, descending qi and resolving phlegm. Catch a cold and cough. Aversion to cold and fever, cough with excessive phlegm, stuffy nose and runny nose, white greasy tongue coating and floating pulse.
[ prescription] Inula 9g, Ephedra 9g, Peucedanum 9g, Schizonepeta tenuifolia 12g, Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata 3g, Pinellia ternata (soaked in ginger juice) 3g and Paeonia lactiflora 3g.
[ usage] It's the last. Take 6 grams each time, add 1 cup of water, add ginger and jujube, fry until 6 points, and take it hot. Such as sweating and taking three times.
