Hunan and Hubei provinces are located in the south-central part of China. Due to their special geographical location, the food cultures of Hunan and Hubei have been influenced by the food cultures of the surrounding places, forming a unique Hunan flavor.

The food culture of Hunan style is mainly spicy, but also focuses on the matching of color, aroma and taste. Hunan's food culture is mainly sour and spicy, while Hubei's food culture is mainly heavy in oil and salt. Hunan Style's dishes are mainly homemade, with unique flavors and tastes.
Steps for Hunan cuisine
The following are the steps for a few Hunan dishes:
Chopped Pepper Fish Head
Materials: Fish head, chopped peppers, green onion, ginger and garlic, cooking wine, salt, chicken essence, soy sauce, sugar, oil.
Fish head clean, cut into pieces, add cooking wine, salt, soy sauce marinade for half an hour.
Shred onion, ginger and garlic and set aside.
Heat the pan and cool the oil, add green onion, ginger and garlic, add chopped pepper and stir fry.
Add fish head and stir-fry, add salt, chicken essence and sugar to taste.
Add an appropriate amount of water and cook until the fish head is cooked through and the juice can be collected.
Mouth watering chicken
Materials: chicken thighs, peanuts, green onions, ginger, garlic, cilantro, chili peppers, salt, chicken essence, pepper powder, soy sauce, vinegar, oil.
Chicken thighs clean, add cooking wine, salt, ginger marinade for half an hour.
Shred onion, ginger and garlic and set aside, coriander and chili pepper chopped.
Put the chicken thighs into a pot, add the right amount of water, cook until the chicken is cooked through, remove and cool.
Tear the cooled chicken into strips, add salt, chicken essence, pepper powder and soy sauce and mix well.
