The Three Gorges Dam in China is a giant project that attracts worldwide attention on the Yangtze River. The Three Gorges Dam starts from Baidicheng, Sichuan in the west and ends at Nanjinguan, Hubei in the east, with a total length of 204 kilometers. It is a treasure of water conservancy projects in China and one of the largest hydropower stations in the world. As for the other "Three Gorges", such as Qutang Gorge, Wuxia Gorge and Xiling Gorge, they are all natural canyons on the Yangtze River, which are different from the engineering properties of the Three Gorges Dam.
Although there is still a place called "Three Gorges", it does not refer to the dam, but to the natural landscape or geographical area similar to the Three Gorges on the Yangtze River. Strictly speaking, there is only one Three Gorges Dam in China.
