1. Planting time. Strawberries are generally planted in spring and autumn, and it is better to feed them. Of course, in areas with pleasant climate, strawberries can be planted all year round. However, for our indoor potted plants, it is recommended to plant them in spring and autumn, so that even if the management is not in place, they are easy to survive, and the strawberries planted in March-April in spring and August-September in autumn have the best taste.

2. select a container. The materials of containers are varied, such as pottery pots, porcelain pots, plastic pots, foam boxes, etc., which are basically optional. Of course, try not to choose a glass basin, because it is more suitable for hydroponics. Although the material requirements of the container are not particularly high, it is necessary to pay attention to choosing an open large basin, because the stems and leaves of strawberries will grow horizontally and occupy a large area. If a small-caliber basin is used, the growth of strawberries will not be accommodated.

3. Select soil. Strawberry planting has certain requirements for soil, which requires a neutral or slightly acidic soil environment, and the soil quality requires fertility, looseness, air permeability and water permeability. Therefore, we can make our own basin soil, and mix it with garden soil or plant ash. The coarse river sand ensures the air permeability and water permeability of the soil, while garden soil or plant ash soil ensures the fertility of the soil. Of course, if the conditions do not allow, or if you are too lazy to configure the pot soil, you can also buy special nutrient soil!
