How is the pain in the liver area?
Pain in the liver area is pain that occurs in the right rib. This is just a symptom/sign, not a disease. More common in acute hepatitis. Due to congestion, swelling, exudation and hepatocyte necrosis of the liver, the outer capsule of the liver is extremely stretched, and the tight liver capsule stimulates nerves, resulting in swelling, dull pain or needle-like pain. Patients often complain of pain from touching or knocking during physical examination. Treatment should focus on the causes of liver pain.
