1) Several principles for preparing bait: lighter than important, hard in state, strong but not heavy in taste. Usually, when preparing the bait, we should choose the puffed bait of snow pollen as the base material, and the auxiliary materials can improve the taste, such as fragrant, fishy and sour. Don't add too much water when rubbing, or the bait will become stiff. Also be careful not to make too much bait at a time, and always make new bait, so as to ensure that the atomization characteristics of bait will not deteriorate. The typical bait formula for silver carp fishing is: 98% Dong Jun, 1.5% white powder additive and 0.5% strawberry essence.

2) bleaching. Whether it is bottom fishing, semi-water fishing or deep-water fishing, the residual buoyancy of the float is indispensable. Therefore, when adjusting the drift, after hanging the bait with a double hook, the drift tip should leak out of the water. Generally, blanking and bleaching can be used. The method is: pull the float to the semi-water position, put the bait on the double hook (the same size as fishing) and throw it into the nest. By trimming the lead skin of the counterweight, the fish can still be exposed to the water for 2-3 times after hanging bait.

3) Fishing rhythm. There is a difference between silver carp fishing and crucian carp fishing. Half-water fishing for silver carp needs to constantly lift the pole to reach the concentration of bait fog in the nest, thus attracting large silver carp. Use small bait balls to catch crucian carp at low frequency. You can't do this. Usually, the throwing rhythm of each shot is 10 second at the initial stage of nesting; During fishing, the period is 1- 15 seconds, and the longest is 20 seconds.

In addition, if the water temperature is low, the weather is sultry, the water is too deep and the bait is heavy, if it is not handled properly, it is likely to lead to the failure of silver carp fishing.

2. Four taboos for silver carp fishing.

1) Avoid low water temperature. Silver carp likes high temperature, and the suitable water temperature is 22-32℃. When the water temperature is lower than 20℃, the biting rate of silver carp will decrease obviously. If the water temperature is below 17℃, silver carp will not bite.

2) Avoid sultry weather. Silver carp is not afraid of heat, but of sultry weather. "stuffy" means low air pressure and lack of oxygen in water. Sometimes people don't feel bored, but silver carp has stopped biting.

3) Avoid deep-water silver carp fishing. Don't fish silver carp with bottom hooks in deep water. If the water depth is 2.5-3 meters, silver carp can be lured to sink to eat. At this time, you can catch silver carp with the bottom hook, but you can't catch silver carp beyond this depth.

4) Avoid too much sour smell. Although silver carp likes sour and smelly bait, it should not be too heavy. Some people choose chemical products such as vinegar essence and citric acid when choosing odorous substances, and some people even use human and animal feces as bait, which is not desirable at this time. These things carry many germs, which make fishermen susceptible to infection, pollute the environment and hinder civilized fishing.
