Huang Shuguang (1960101October17-1985 June 2) entered the martial arts training class of Shaw Film Company on 1978, and was also a student with Xiao Haoqin and others.

Huang Shuguang, a martial artist in several "Shaw" martial arts films, began to play small roles in some films in the early 1980s because of his outstanding appearance. Since then, due to the popularity of new action films and gunfight films represented by Jackie Chan in Hong Kong, traditional martial arts films have begun to decline. At this time, the newly established ATV urgently needed professional martial arts actors, so Shaw Company lent him and Xiao Haoqin to ATV.

During the period of ATV (1984- 1985), Huang Shuguang made several TV dramas, but they were basically bit part with few scenes, such as Wang Jian in Huo Dongge, Sha Wuji in Xia Ying Road in Pingsui, General Bu Yao in God of War and The Prince of the Dragon Crossing the Sea, which was the most in his period.

1in the early morning of June 2, 985, Huang Shuguang fell from a height and died because of a decoration accident, at the age of 25!
