How to make Japanese miso soup
1. Cut the tofu into small cubes (cut into strips of fried tofu) and soak the tender kelp in water for 10 minutes in advance , discard the water, drain and set aside for later use, and set aside a little chopped green onion
2. Add an appropriate amount of shaved fish fillets to the water and cook them to get the flavor, then filter out the shaved fish and keep the soup for later use
3. Put the tofu or fried tofu into the bonito soup and bring to a boil, then add the tender kelp. Test the saltiness of the soup and turn off the heat
4. Use two spoons of boiling water to fully dissolve the appropriate amount of miso. Add it to the soup, stir evenly, and sprinkle with chopped green onion
Cooking Tips
1. The color of the soup should be thick, but when I took pictures and moved it around, it started to precipitate a little. No problem.
2. The saltiness of tender kelp and miso varies according to different brands, so be sure to adjust the saltiness while testing the taste.
