Sugar beets prefer warm growing conditions and are resistant to cold. It is usually planted in soft soil rich in organic matter so that it will grow better. Growth of beets

The growth phase of beets can be divided into four periods, from seedling emergence to the end of root stripping. This period of slow growth of the tuberous roots belongs to the seedling stage, followed by the rapid growth period of the leaves, when the aboveground functional organs grow rapidly, followed by the growth period of the tuberous roots and sugar, which lasts for about 40 days, and finally the sugar accumulation period.
