In the spring, when the Rubin Flowers are in full bloom, Guo Yuntian is transferred from the big city to work as an art teacher in an elementary school in the town of Shuicheng. The city has a beautiful landscape, but there is a great disparity between the rich and the poor. Yun Tian realizes that a student in his class, Gu A Ming, is a talented painter. A-Ming was from a poor family, mischievous and not good at school, but he had a keen sense of color and things around him and an imagination. Yun Tian visited A Ming's family and learned that he had lost his mother when he was young, his father was a simple tea farmer, and his sister, Chamei, was a motherly and understanding person. Yuntian cared for them and developed a deep relationship with them. Yuntian's unique style and temperament also sent ripples through the hearts of the two female teachers at the school. Soon after his burial, news came that A-Ming's painting of a tea bug won the Gold Medal of the World Children's Painting Award. Reporters came to the township to cover the story, and everyone said that A-Ming was a genius who died young. Lu Bing Hua is an adaptation of Chung Shiu-ching's socially realistic novel, and under the director's \camera, we see the story of Taiwan. A beautiful and heartbreaking story. Mixed with a lot of beauty and sadness. There are some ordinary yet precious touches, some realistic yet powerless lassitude. Almost all of the early Taiwan stories always give us the faint sentiment of sadness.
