The red parrot fish in my family looks like long hair. After two days of scattering, the white spots fester and the yellow powder doesn't improve. It seems to be getting worse. What should I do?
Long hair, water model; White spot melon disease; Ulcer ... decay. This fish has worked miracles, but it can still be saved. First of all, raise the water temperature of fish culture to above 28 degrees, preferably 30 degrees. After a few hours, the white spots will disappear automatically, and then sprinkle a little coarse salt into the fish tank. About one in two million, the fish will be fine. Water mold and skin rot can be treated in one way. Take out the fish, remove the white hair from the wound with tweezers, and apply some nitrofurazone dry powder or mercuric chloride to the affected area. It is best to clean the fish tank with potassium permanganate, then take it out every day and soak it in 2% crude brine for 10 minute, or in 2ppm furacilin solution for 10 minute, once a day or alternately, and soak it continuously for several days until the condition improves. A three-pronged approach will get twice the result with half the effort, so it will get better faster.
