Appearance characteristics of kapok

Where does kapok grow?

The origin of kapok is unknown, but it may have originated in India. It is widely planted with immigrants in Malay Peninsula, Indonesian, southern China, Hongkong and Taiwan Province Province. According to ancient records in China, Zhao Tuo, king of South Vietnam, presented a kapok tree to the Han Dynasty in the 2nd century BC.
