How to identify poisonous bean sprouts
1. Look at the bean sprouts. Naturally cultivated bean sprouts are not soft and crisp, while "poisonous bean sprouts" have thick and watery stalks.
2. Look at the roots of bean sprouts. Naturally cultivated bean sprouts have well-developed roots and no root or tip rot.
3. Look at the bean grains. Naturally cultivated bean sprouts have normal bean grains, while "toxic bean sprouts" have blue bean grains.
4. Check whether there is water coming out from the broken bean sprout stalks. If there is no water coming out, it is the naturally cultivated bean sprouts.
5. Look at the color of bean sprouts. The color of pollution-free bean sprouts is natural, while the brightness of processed bean sprouts is significantly increased.
6. Look at the shape of the bean sprouts. The pollution-free bean sprouts are slender and well-proportioned, while the chemically induced bean sprouts grow crookedly.
