Reasons for different colors of milk powder:
1. Different milk sources have different colors. The color of milk powder is first related to the milk source, that is, to the color of the milk produced by the cows. The slight yellow color of milk is caused by the small amounts of yellow riboflavin, lutein and carotene. These substances mainly come from the forage that cows eat. For example, when cows eat forage that contains high levels of carotene, the carotene is transferred into the milk through the blood, causing the milk to turn yellow. Generally speaking, fresh forage carrot content will be higher than dry forage. Therefore, the color of milk produced by cows fed with fresh grass will be more yellow and the taste will be more fragrant; the color of milk produced by cows fed with hay will be whiter and the taste will be slightly lighter.
2. Different fat content and different colors. The fat content in milk powder also affects the depth of color. In daily life, when fresh milk is heated, a layer of light yellow oil will float on it.
