Origin Taiping Huimin Hejiao Buren Fang

Synonym Ginseng and Atractylodes Drink (Zhang's Doctor's Guide to Medicine, Volume 16). In this formula, ginseng, atractylodes macrocephala, Poria and licorice tonify the qi and strengthen the spleen; Chinese yam, lentil and lotus meat tonify the spleen and seep away dampness; Radix et Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephala awakens the spleen; Radix Platycodonis rises to clear the lung and promote the qi, which is used to carry medicine upward. The combination of all the drugs, *** into the spleen and qi, and the stomach and seepage of dampness.

Functions: Strengthening the spleen by invigorating qi, stopping diarrhea by seeping dampness.

Attending Spleen deficiency and dampness. Formula Description This formula is caused by the deficiency of the spleen and the prevalence of dampness. The treatment is to tonify the spleen and stomach, and to stop diarrhea by seeping dampness at the same time. In the formula, ginseng, atractylodes, poria benefit the qi, strengthen the spleen and seepage dampness as the king. Yam, lotus seed meat to help the king drug to strengthen the spleen and qi, and can stop diarrhea; and white lentils, coix seed to help atractylodes macrocephala, poria to strengthen the spleen and seepage of dampness, are the subject drug. The use of Chinese sand nuts to wake up the cards and stomach, move Qi and eliminate stagnation, is an adjuvant drug.
