According to legend, after the emperor shunzhi moved to Beijing in the Qing Dynasty, in order to ensure the palace's food, clothing, housing and transportation, tribute official stations unrelated to local officials were set up in Wula Street, Jiangning, Suzhou and Hangzhou, which were directly managed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Beijing. The yamen of Wula Street in the northeast is responsible for collecting winter bamboo, pine nuts, honey, sturgeon, ginseng, mink and white rice. Among them, the sturgeon, a specialty of Songhua River, is delicious, tender and delicious, and is welcomed by the court. Generally, fishing is in spring, summer and autumn. Fishermen keep sturgeons caught from Songhua River in pens. When winter comes, frozen fish can be transported to Beijing by carriage for the exclusive use of the palace.
In the twenty-first year of Kangxi, when Emperor Kangxi marched eastward to Jilin, he had been to the carp circle. With the demise of the Qing Dynasty, carp pens were abandoned. After a long time, the pomfret circle was called the yellow croaker circle. The Huangyuquan Cultural Site is of great value to the study of the cultures in various historical periods in Jilin Province. Huangqianquan began to be developed and restored this year, becoming a tourist attraction in shulan city, and it is planned to be gradually opened to tourists after 2009.
