1. Ginseng is mainly produced in the northeast of China. Ginseng mostly grows at 40-45 N and 1 17.5- 134 E. It is distributed in eastern Liaoning, eastern half of Jilin and eastern Heilongjiang, and has been introduced in Hebei, Shanxi and Shandong.

3. Ginseng is a perennial herb, which likes to grow in the shade, and its leaves have no stomata and palisade tissue, so it can't retain water. When the temperature is higher than 32 degrees, the leaves will burn with a canopy density of 0.7-0.8. It usually blooms in 3 years and bears fruit in 5-6 years. The flowering period is from May to June, and the fruiting period is from June to September.
