Qiqihar University is two books. It was founded in 1952, referred to as Dutch, and located in Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province. It is not only the only provincial comprehensive university in the west of Heilongjiang Province, but also one of the three comprehensive universities in Heilongjiang Province, a high-level university in Heilongjiang Province and a key construction university in Heilongjiang Province (Phase I). The school currently has 23 colleges (departments), 7 teaching auxiliary units and 74 majors, covering 1 1 disciplines.

The school has full-time teachers 1480, including 726 professors and associate professors. Teachers with doctoral and master's degrees account for 82.30% of the total number of full-time teachers, with 38 doctoral and master's tutors1person and 42 foreign teachers employed. In addition, among the teachers, 1 was elected as a foreign academician of Russian Academy of Sciences, 3 were "Longjiang Scholar" distinguished professor and 2 were "Longjiang Scholar" young scholars. There are 6 provincial famous teachers, 3 provincial teaching teams and 2 winners of Heilongjiang Outstanding Youth Fund.

Moreover, there are the Ministry of Education 1 Engineering Research Center, 6 key laboratories in Heilongjiang Province, 3 engineering technology research centers in Heilongjiang Province, 2 key laboratories in universities in Heilongjiang Province, and the research base of philosophy and social sciences in Heilongjiang Province 1.

In addition, there are 14 provincial first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites, 4 national specialty construction sites, 1 national off-campus practical education base for college students, 17 provincial key majors, 2 national "professional comprehensive reform pilot" construction projects, and 2 provincial "professional comprehensive reform pilot" construction projects in Heilongjiang province.
