Treatment of solar dermatitis:

Systemic treatment

Antihistamines for mild cases, and oral glucocorticosteroids, aspirin, or indomethacin in small doses for severe cases or those with poor results.

2. Local treatment

Local topical glycerine lotion for mild cases, cold compresses, glucocorticosteroid cream or 2.5% indomethacin solution for slightly severe cases.

Prevention:

Regularly participate in outdoor exercise to enhance the skin's ability to tolerate sun exposure; avoid outdoor activities or reduce the duration of activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. when sunlight exposure is at its strongest; avoid sun exposure, and pay attention to the protection of going out, such as holding umbrellas, wearing wide-brimmed hats, and long-sleeved clothes; if outdoors, it is recommended to routinely apply a sun protection factor (SPF) of 15 or more. If you are outdoors, it is recommended that you routinely apply sun protection factor (SPF) 15 or more sunscreen, and those with severe photosensitivity need to use a highly effective sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or more.
