Pay attention to the washing label of clothes before washing, know the proper washing method, water temperature and drying method of clothes, and don't waste a piece of clothes because of operational mistakes.
When washing, it is recommended to wash gently by hand. If you need machine washing, you can put your clothes in a laundry bag with the reverse side facing outward and wash them with a low-temperature water cooler.
When washing by hand, the water temperature should be controlled at about 30 degrees. Too high is easy to denature wool, too low can not give full play to the best effect of detergent.
Choose neutral detergent or special detergent. If there is no neutral detergent, you can also use shampoo instead.
Soak the sweater completely in warm water for 5- 10 minutes, and the time should not be too long. The sweater will fade if it is soaked for too long. After 5- 10 minutes, squeeze gently with your hands, and don't rub, knead or twist hard to avoid deformation and pilling. Finally, rinse the foam with clean water. In this process, you can put some vinegar or softener in clean water, and the washed sweater will feel better.
Try not to dehydrate the washed wool products by washing machine, which will easily deform the clothes. You can choose to spread the washed sweater on a dry towel, so that the towel can absorb the moisture of wool clothes as much as possible.
After absorbing most of the water, don't dry it with clothes. It's best to spread the sweater in the shade as it is. Avoid direct sunlight and do not iron, so as not to burn clothes.
Small coup to recover after shrinkage: heat the shrunk sweater with a steam iron, and then stretch the sweater by hand while the heat on the sweater is still there.
