1, paper bag
Paper bags have good air permeability, but they are easy to break and have high cost. Harvest the fruit in time after it is ripe, otherwise the surface of the fruit will easily age, which will affect the appearance quality and commodity.
The time for bagging with paper bags should be sooner rather than later. Generally, fruits should be bagged after mid-June. It is advisable to take advantage of the sunny weather, and do not bag when the dew is not dry in the morning, when it rains, or when the liquid medicine is not dry after spraying.
2, film bags
Plastic film bags have the advantages of low price, easy operation, long harvest period (about 30 days), no aging of fruit surface, less fruit cracking and large yield increase. However, pomegranate has poor air permeability and poor coloring, which affects its appearance color. In addition, due to the delay of maturity and late harvest, the nutrient accumulation and recovery period of trees before wintering are shortened, which reduces the level of nutrient accumulation and increases the risk of freezing injury of trees in winter.
Through experiments, it is best to start bagging in early and middle August. Premature use will not only affect fruit development, but also make pomegranate easy to get sunburned and leave diseased spots. If it is used too late, it will affect the bagging effect and fail to control pests and diseases.
