I am the daughter of Yang Naiwu, and "Yang Naiwu and Chinese Cabbage" is one of the four major legal cases in the late Qing Dynasty. In the decades before liberation, it was written into the script, sung everywhere, and staged many times after liberation. 1963 In August and September, Yang Naiwu and Chinese Cabbage were shown in Hangzhou Cinema, and I went to see them. Li Bokang, a critic group of Hangzhou Quyi Bookstore, played and sang this story. I've heard of it, too, and I always think it's too far from the truth.

There are many real plots that have not been put in, but many of them are not true. It was my aunt and mother who went to Beijing to sue the court. 1904, when I was 22 years old, my father died of illness.

They often talk to their children about the inside story of this unjust prison. After my father got out of prison, he copied the mansion newspaper related to this case and made a diary. I've seen it too, but it's lost.

I have long wanted to write the truth about this incident. Now, as far as I know, I will describe it in detail for the reference of those who collect modern historical materials and study this historical story.
