Tomb-Sweeping Day folktales say that during the Spring and Autumn Period, Zhong Er, the son of Jin Dynasty, went into exile to escape persecution. On the way to exile, in a deserted place, Zhong Er lost his strength and could not stand up. He walked to a secluded place with the minister meson, cut a piece of meat from his leg and made Zhong Er a bowl of broth. After Zhong Er drank it, his strength improved.
Nineteen years later, Zhong Er became a monarch, rewarded his heroes in exile, and forgot about meson push. Someone advised meson to push Mianjun for a reward. He despised this kind of person the most. He packed his bags and quietly ran to the mountain with him.
When Zhong Er heard about it, he wanted to push the meson down from the mountain, but there were too many trees on the mountain to walk, so Zhong Er wanted to smoke him down. As a result, the meson was pushed to death, leaving a bloody book: "I hope the master will be clear."
So this day is Tomb-Sweeping Day.
