Foreword
I originally wanted to make meatballs, but my dad said I shouldn’t always eat fried ones. After thinking about it, it’s okay to fry it and eat it. Add some potatoes and winter melon, it’s a healthy combination of meat and vegetables.
Ingredients
Main ingredients: 250g pork, 100g potatoes, 100g winter melon;
Accessory ingredients: appropriate amount of oil, appropriate amount of salt, appropriate amount of soy sauce, appropriate amount of sesame oil, chopped green onion and ginger Appropriate amount, 1 egg white, 1 star anise, appropriate amount of cooking wine
Potato and winter melon stewed meatloaf

Chop pork into filling

Cut the onion and ginger into mince

Put the minced onion and ginger, soy sauce, salt, sesame oil and egg white into the meat filling

Beat vigorously

Slice winter melon

Cut potatoes into hob pieces

Onion, ginger and star anise are set aside

Pour oil into the pot, add some meat filling, and flatten it into a cake shape with the back of a spoon

Fry until golden brown on both sides

Put it out to control the oil

Leave oil in the pot, add onion, ginger and star anise and stir-fry until fragrant

Cook in cooking wine and soy sauce

Add the meatloaf and potatoes, add more water than the potatoes, and simmer for 8 minutes

Add the winter melon, simmer for another 2 minutes, and add salt
Tips
The meat should be whipped in one direction so that it will not fall apart when making the meatloaf
