The baby grew to six months, pure breastfeeding has been unable to meet its nutritional needs, the need to start adding complementary foods. With the gradual growth of the child, vegetables, meat and eggs can be fed to them. Feeding process, some parents will compare the nutritional value of similar foods, like quail eggs, eggs and pigeon eggs. So, which of these three types of eggs is more nutritious and suitable for children?
The nutrition of eggs is actually similar.
Eggs are high in protein, rich in amino acids and closest to the human body. Commonly, there are white-shelled eggs and red-shelled eggs, which have exactly the same nutritional value, so it's fine for parents to buy whichever kind of eggs they want.
The protein content of pigeon eggs is slightly lower than that of eggs, but they are rich in high-quality protein, and their calcium and iron elements are higher than those of eggs. In addition, pigeon eggs have much higher riboflavin than eggs, which can promote skin and hair regeneration, and is good for eyesight, relieving eyestrain and enhancing vision.
Quail eggs are nutritionally comprehensive, low in cholesterol and rich in lecithin, higher than eggs, which is very helpful for brain development.
As far as individual eggs are concerned, the strength and weight of an egg is greater than that of pigeon and quail eggs, so the nutritional value of an egg is better if only one is consumed. In this case, about 4-5 quail eggs are equal to 1 egg, while two pigeon eggs are equal to 1 egg. So, you can usually eat one egg, or 4 quail eggs or 2 pigeon eggs. Their nutrition is basically the same.
Children can eat more quail eggs, because phospholipid-rich, more conducive to brain development, primary and secondary school students can eat more eggs, good for eyesight. Pigeon eggs are generally eaten less, do not need to deliberately eat.
