The platypus is covered with soft brown thick short hair, the skull is smaller than the echidna, and the brain is hemispherical and smooth. The limbs are short, the five toes are hooked, and there are membranous webs between the toes, which are shaped like duck feet. When walking or digging, the web is folded in the palm of your hand in the opposite direction.
It is covered with soft fur, like a good waterproof coat, with a very wide and flat mouth. It is like a mask on the head, shaped like a duckbill, soft in texture, like leather, covered with nerves, and can receive electric waves from other animals like a radar scanner. The platypus uses this sharp weapon to find food and find directions in the water.
There are wide horny gums in the mouth, but there are no teeth. The tail is large and flat, accounting for 1/4 of the body length. It acts as a rudder when swimming in the water.
