Jiaozi's Dumpling Banquet
Jiaozi has been used for banquets since 1000 years ago in the Tang Dynasty. Chang 'an, the capital at that time, was the economic and cultural center of the Tang Dynasty. Nowadays, "Cixi Chrysanthemum Hotpot" has become the last classic of dumpling feast. At this banquet, no matter how much jiaozi you eat, you can hear the explanation of the blessing. One represents smooth sailing, the other represents double happiness, and there are four seasons to make a fortune, five children entering the exam, seven stars shining high, and so on. The combination of these numbers and words is hard for people who don't understand Chinese, but it hasn't affected foreign tourists' interest in eating jiaozi. For them, the trouble is that chopsticks are too long and jiaozi is too small, so it is not easy to eat a jiaozi. Jiaozi, handed down from generation to generation in China, has formed an exquisite banquet here, which has also opened a window for people to understand China's food culture. As the saying goes, "Welcome to jiaozi", the dumpling feast has become a famous food in Xi, and thousands of people come here to visit it every day. Tourists from all corners of the country use different tools and eat the same jiaozi. In the ancient rhyme, jiaozi has become a symbol of China's culture and tradition, and it is a unique greeting from Xi 'an, the ancient capital, to welcome guests from afar.
