Weifang Library was established on August 7th, 1948. After more than 60 years of development, we adhere to the tenet of public welfare, fairness and efficiency, and adhere to the development concept of building the library with service, strengthening the library with brand, prospering the library with innovation and prospering the library with talents. It has been rated as a civilized library and a first-class library by the Ministry of Culture for many times, and it is an advanced unit of ancient book protection, sharing project construction and service, and local literature work in Shandong Province.
The new Weifang Library is located in the Civic Culture and Art Center, with a construction area of 36,000 square meters, and can accommodate 2 million books. It adopts the architectural style of large studio, barrier-free and communication, and the service mode of collecting, borrowing and reading in one. The opening hours are from 8: 30 in summer (May 1 to September 30th) to 7: 30 in winter (September 30th).
