Lanling generally refers to Lanling County, which belongs to Linyi City, Shandong Province. It is located in the south of Shandong Province, with open coastal areas and developed Huanghuaihai Plain.
Lanling County was founded in the Spring and Autumn Period and is the earliest county seat in Shandong Province. It was originally a pavilion in the state of Lu, which was occupied by the State of Chu in 380 BC.
