How to make a thousand layers of oil cake
Traditional practice

First, peel and cut pork suet into pieces, chop it into minced meat, and knead it evenly with spiced powder and fine salt. Then put the onion and ginger juice into the basin, pour the flour into it, knead it into dough, then roll it into thin dough, then spread the minced meat and suet evenly on the dough embryo, roll it up and cut it into thin strips, one inch long, pull up the fine flour and roll it into a tower by hand to form the oil tower embryo. Oil the cage, cover it with epithelium, put the oil tower on the base and cover it with a layer of skin. Steam it on a boiling pot for about an hour, then take it out and put it on a plate. Then put the crude embryo of the oil tower on the oil pan and fry it with slow fire until both sides are golden.

Modern practice

1. Ingredients: 500g of flour, 5g of salt, appropriate amount of cold water, a handful of chopped green onion and 40ml2 of sesame oil. 2. Sprinkle dry noodles on the chopping board, take out the baked dough and knead for another 5 minutes until the dough becomes soft; 3. Roll the dough into pancakes with a thickness of about half a centimeter; 4. Sprinkle salt on the surface of the bread, gently press it with your hands, sprinkle chopped green onion and sesame oil, and wipe it evenly with your hands; 5. Then gently roll up the bread with one hand, and slowly pull it out with the other hand, in order to make the bread roll thin and even, and finally roll it into a cylinder; 6. After rolling, divide it into four parts evenly, pull up a preparation, turn your hands slightly in the opposite direction to make the chopped green onion inside evenly wrapped, then knead it into a circle, roll out a round cake with a rolling pin, and roll out each dough in turn; 7. Put a proper amount of oil in the electric baking pan or pan and spread it evenly. When it is slightly hot, add bread. If it's a pan, cover it and bake it slowly over low heat until it turns yellow, then turn it over and bake it until both sides of the bread are golden.
