Contemporary with Xin, there were Liu Guo and later Liu Kezhuang, whose ci style was obviously influenced by Xin Qiji, forming the most powerful patriotic ci school in the middle and late Southern Song Dynasty. They make friends and express their feelings with Ci, and they share a common patriotic ideological tendency, and at the same time, they further push Ci to the road of essays.
