Victor frankl: What did I experience in the concentration camp?
People will encounter some setbacks and hardships in their lives, but few people have such experiences.

1945 Victor frankl, a famous psychologist, shared his experiences in Nazi period and Auschwitz concentration camp, which was creepy. ......

During World War II, as a Jew, he, his parents, his wife and his brother were imprisoned in Auschwitz, the land of the dead. Only he and his sister survived, and everyone else died in the gas chamber.

Life in a concentration camp is written in many works, but if you are really in it, how will you react and feel?

The author Victor frankl unveiled the mysterious veil for us in the book "Living the Meaning of Life":

Every prisoner who goes to a concentration camp goes through three stages: reception, adaptation, release and liberation.

Like every prisoner who has just arrived in the concentration camp, from the moment he got on the bus, everyone was shocked by the sound: rude and harsh orders and screams, 1500 people of various identities and speaking various European languages were driven into a small hut. All the finances are confiscated, and anyone who dares to hide will be beaten immediately.

Even some people's honorary certificates and medals were confiscated and destroyed. I have nothing to prove myself in the first half of my life.

All frankl's possessions ended up with only a pair of glasses and a belt. But he did his best to save a manuscript.

Those who look old, weak and sick are sent directly to the incinerator for burning. The seemingly healthy prisoner was rushed to another room, and everyone was asked to take off their clothes on time, shave their heads and be rushed to the bathroom to take a bath.

Then I began to do heavy work in a state of extreme lack of nutrition, hygiene and food. I can't brush my teeth, lack vitamins, can't wash, and sleep in a crowded way.

Five ounces of bread is food for four days. I checked, it's about 150 grams of bread for four days!

From then on, I began to work every day. New prisoners must clean up their feces. When feces splashes on people's faces, you can't wipe them with your hands or show disgust, otherwise you will be beaten.

In the process of childbirth, sometimes helping people around you can also lead to beatings. Sometimes even for a little reason, you will be beaten, for example, the queue is a little crooked, or you are tired from work. If you stop to catch your breath, you will be insulted and beaten.

Human dignity has been ruthlessly trampled on. In the minds of prisoners, foremen and SS, the concept of "people" has long since disappeared, just a group of humble things like livestock!

Those who beat the prisoners are also prisoners who came earlier. Those who were elected as prison leaders or foremen were cruel prisoners. Although they knew that they would be rushed to the gas chamber sooner or later, they were lucky to live longer through their "positive performance". .

Everyone in the concentration camp gradually became numb and cold. No longer afraid to see other prisoners beaten, no longer afraid to drag dead bodies out, no longer thinking about spiritual pursuit, but returned to the most primitive state of extreme desire and yearning for food.

Every day, I am just glad that I have lived another day, and I am keen to exchange delicious recipes in imagination and family reunion every day.

Day after day, day after day.
