We are in an industry, commercial things have become a necessary evil, and we need to worry all the time.

We are also a band that always needs to make music with heart, for friendship and for music itself. Spiritual satisfaction should always be more important than money!

Nightwish is a band and an emotion.

Unfortunately, for you, business, money, and things that have nothing to do with feelings have become more important, very important. You feel that you sacrificed yourself and your music career for nightwish, and you never thought about what the band gave you.

This attitude, you told me on the plane in Toronto, two sentences have been very clear:

"I don't need nightwish anymore."

"Remember Thomas, I can leave the band at any time with a day's notice."

I can hardly write you any more songs.

You said you were just a "guest musician" in nightwish. Now that our visit is over, we will continue our nightwish with a new female singer.

You told us that the next nightwish album would be your last. However, as long as the fire doesn't go out, the rest of us will keep moving forward. So there's no need to work with you on this album again.

The four of us have considered the situation countless times and found that this is what we actually have to do and can only do so.

Deep down, we don't know which one of you pushed us to this point. Somehow, Marcelo turned you from a lovely girl into a heroine, and your thoughts and practices are very different from before. You are a little overconfident about your irreplaceable position.

Obviously, you blame the four of us for your nervousness and pain and think that we don't respect you and listen to you. Please believe that as an excellent singer and friend, we have always respected you very much. In the past few years, our plans have often been made only according to your decision. But you are always the only one who wants to make more money from concerts. This attitude of "everything is fine with money" is what we are most disappointed with!

We hope that from now on you can listen to your heart, not Marcelo's. Cultural differences are very dangerous when they are combined with greed, opportunism and love. Please don't let yourself wither

We are not proud of making this decision, but you left us no choice. The gap between us is too big. This decision was unanimously adopted by us. Dialogue can't solve the problem.
