Taiyue generally refers to Mount Tai, and Old Mount Tai is a title, which means father-in-law. The title of Mount Tai originated in the Tang Dynasty and was related to the famous emperor Li Longji. The emperor of the Tang Dynasty, Mount Tai in Li Longji, closed a retreat, and then Prime Minister Zhang Shuo was appointed as the special envoy to close the retreat. According to the practice at that time, all accompanying officials except Sangong could be promoted to the next level after meditation. Zhang's son-in-law, Zheng Yi, was originally a junior official with nine grades, but after meditation, she was promoted to the fourth grade.

Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty asked Zheng Yi how he rose so fast in front of the civil and military officials in the Qing Dynasty. Zheng Yi faltered and was speechless. Huang Zan-chuo laughed at him and said, "This is the power of Mount Tai." It became widely known later. Many years later, my mother-in-law was popularly called Mount Tai.
