Thunderbolt puppet show, named after the word "Thunderbolt" in the title of each play, was written by Chris Huang, the director of Ten Car Books, and coordinated by an eight-tone master. It was founded together with 1984' s Thunderbolt City, but the familiar Thunderbolt puppet show refers to 1988' s Thunderbolt Golden Light.

These plays are interrelated and independent. From the beginning of three works, Golden Light of Thunderbolt, Eye of Thunderbolt and Supreme Thunderbolt, to the end of 202 1, the story of Thunderbolt has played more than 2,600 episodes, which is the main puppet show of Thunderbolt International Multimedia.

The puppet show is based on the division of drama series, and there are no fewer than a thousand main characters with surnames. Up to now, only six episodes of The Legend of Ye Xiaochai and The Legend of Thunderbolt are the least, while the series of Knife of Thunderbolt, The Fairy of Thunderbolt and Two Stories of Killing Demons are the most.
