We deal with Chinese characters every day. Did you know that Chinese characters are not rigid symbols, but elves with unique personalities, like a group of lively and lovely children joking and playing on paper, like beautiful flowers? The beautiful flowers delight your eyes, what lovely elves these are! However, there are many irregularities in wording in signboards, TV subtitles, books and newspapers.
Walking on the street, you can see the signs and advertisements on various facades. Various typos can be clearly seen on these. Some randomly change idioms, and some use homophonic words... As soon as you walk into the home appliance store, you will find advertisements that use idioms randomly: "Bath as you like (desire)" for bathers, "Love is not wet (interpretation)" for washing machines Hands" and so on, making it difficult for people to distinguish between true and false. When I walked into the drug store, I found that the "cough" in the advertisement for cough medicine was not the same as the "stomach" in the advertisement for stomach medicine. Typos appear most frequently in the catering industry. It is common for restaurants of all sizes to write "box lunch" as "合饭". On the menu, "cucumber stir-fried meat" can be written as "yellow claw stir-fried meat", and the four characters can actually be written. Two mistakes, and there are many similar mistakes. All this makes me feel angry. How can the words of the motherland be used indiscriminately?
There may be three reasons for the above typos: (1) Deliberately writing the wrong words to improve business efficiency, such as: "Internet" in Internet cafe advertisements, etc. (2) Low cultural quality , such as: "Braised noodles" on a restaurant's signboard is written as "Meeting" (3) Carelessness, such as "eggs" are written as "Chicken Dan" on the restaurant's menu, etc.
Chinese characters are the most magical characters in the world, from symbols on pottery and carvings on tortoise shells and animal bones, to type printing and computer typing, from the chants of "吭yo吭yo" to elegant and elegant poems. From singing to the Mandarin movement and vernacular writing, they carry the civilization and wisdom of the Chinese nation for thousands of years. After the wrath of time, they are as endless as the surging Yellow River and the Yangtze River. Today, they have been ignored by some descendants who ignore the past but favor the present. Being regarded as the last generation will lead to aphasia in social communication, information transmission and cultural communication, and block the path of exploration for people with lofty ideals. Therefore, we should all do what we can to purify the motherland's writing. For example: 1. Promote civilized language. 2. Carefully study the pronunciation, form, and meaning of Chinese words to reduce typos; 3. Carefully study the rules of Chinese word and sentence construction to reduce sentences with grammatical errors. 4. Use Mandarin words, sentences and grammatical rules in your composition, and do not use Internet language or other non-standard language.
