The master bedroom of Meiling Palace is arranged according to Song Meiling's favorite style, and the second bedroom belongs to her husband. Song Meiling's private female secretary has an exclusive secretary's office with a separate bathroom on the second floor.
The mahogany furniture and western-style sofa placed in the master bedroom are the original objects of that year. Song Meiling pays attention to dressing up. Her wardrobe is made of mahogany on the outside and camphor wood on the inside. She has received countless expensive clothes. Nowadays, a cheongsam is specially hung on the coat rack next to the wardrobe, and a western-style hat is placed next to the mirror of the dresser. The decoration of the bedside is a single photo of the lady. Wedding photos can be seen in the second bedroom.
The layout of Meiling Palace
Meiling Palace is a three-story, double-eaved, mountain-shaped palace building with an official appearance in the Ming and Qing Dynasties and green glazed tiles on the top. The car can go directly to the gate, and there are guard room, cloakroom, confidential room, staff room and kitchen on the first floor. There are reception room, cloakroom, secretary's office and bedroom, kitchen, tea room, laundry room and bathroom on the first floor.
The second floor is mainly used as a meeting room and lounge, with a hall, living room, dining room, tea room, study and secretarial office. The third floor is the residential part, with a female living room, four big bedrooms, a small dining room and a kitchen.
