National Highway 238 (Nanchang-Huilai), also known as G238, is a newly added national highway in National Highway Network Planning (20 13-2030). G238 starts in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province and ends in Huilai County, Guangdong Province, with a north-south trend, passing through Jiangxi and Guangdong provinces.

According to the requirements of "high quality, high efficiency and safety", after several months of intense construction, the project has steadily advanced. Up to now, pavement cleaning 1 1.8 million m2, earthwork excavation 1.0 million m3, earthwork excavation1/.2 million m3 and old ditch 1.7 million m3 have been completed. The project is expected to be completed in June 20 16.
