Can I call the prison?
There is no specific law about how long you can make phone calls in prison. According to personal experience, after the criminals are transferred to prison for execution, they can talk to their families immediately after completing the relevant procedures, and some may have to wait for half a month or even longer. Some people can call home every week to say hello. In order to better reform prisoners, prisons all over the country have opened "home phones", and some people can usually make phone calls once or twice a month. The prison authorities will also reward or deduct the opportunity to talk with family members according to the realization of criminals. The "home phone number" is fixed as the home phone number, and prisoners can only call their relatives with this bound number, not others. In principle, family members cannot call prisoners, nor can they be transferred by prison managers.
