I have recorded the experience of digging wild vegetables several times before, only three or four kinds of shepherd's purse, dandelion and wild vegetables I know, and others I don't know dare to dig and eat casually.
Once, in an article by Jane's friend Chu Yun, I saw that she wrote, dig up the grey vegetables, blanch them and eat them cold. Her husband said they were delicious. The article is also accompanied by pictures. The gray vegetables in the pictures look tender and slippery, which particularly attracts me. Later, I saw that there was also a picture of gray vegetables after the rain in the picture of Jane Dream. I couldn't help looking at it carefully, trying to remember what this dish looked like.
Although I have seen it several times, it is all words and pictures. I have never seen them in my life. I believe we have them here, but I don't know them yet.
Yesterday morning, when I was outside getting sugar, I accidentally found a plant that looked like a gray vegetable on the side of the newly-built lawn on the right side of the side door road in the community. After the lawn community was built, there was no follow-up maintenance and many weeds grew. Weeds grow very fast, and soon some of them cover the artificially cultivated lawn. This kind of plant like gray vegetables is next to the sidewalk.
When I saw this plant, a picture of a gray vegetable I had seen flashed through my mind. The color is not as green as in the photo, and the leaves are a little old, aren't they? I took two pictures in a hurry and scanned them with my mobile phone. I am delighted to find that this is a relatively large gray vegetable.
I am as happy as finding an old friend. It turns out that there are gray vegetables I want to know in front of my house. I have lived here for four years and passed by here countless times. Why haven't I found it yet? Or did it just grow this year? I don't know. Most likely, it's already here. Just because I don't know, I can't see it.
