There are about five or six customs in Shenzhen: Meilin, Buji, Baoan, Baimang and so on.

These passes were mainly set up to prevent the sudden influx of a large number of floating population when Shenzhen was established earlier. Now it has no great practical significance, but Shenzhen is still divided into the inside and the outside of the pass, which is actually the difference between the city and the suburbs.

At present, there is generally no need to apply for a customs clearance certificate, but occasionally you have to use your ID card to go to the customs clearance hall for free, which is very fast and convenient, as long as the ID card is not fake.

Customs consumption is probably like this:

Rent a house, a single room with a small kitchen and bathroom, around 300 in January. If the environment is good and close to the gate, it will be 100.

Eating, usually 5 yuan a meal.

Take the bus to Guannei 2~4 yuan.

The consumption in the pass is mainly expensive housing, and the same conditions are about 200~400 yuan.

The same food money can't be eaten at the customs, and the food is poor.

The security outside the customs is not very good. Rape, murder and robbery are everywhere. It's better inside Shanhaiguan Pass, but it's not a peaceful world.
