Stewed chicken with taro
Ingredients: 2 kg of Sanhuang chicken, taro 1 kg, half onion, 4 slices of ginger, 5 cloves of garlic, 3 peppers and 2 star anise.
Steps:
Cut the Sanhuang chicken into pieces and wash it. Don't discard chicken gizzards, chicken hearts and chicken livers. You can stew them together later. When you buy chicken in the market, you can ask the stall owner to help clean up the internal organs and chop them up.
Make a pot of boiling water, put the chicken pieces in, skim off the blood foam and take them out for later use.
Pour olive oil into the pot, add onion, ginger, garlic cloves, star anise and pepper, and stir-fry until fragrant.
